JOB PURPOSE:
To be the Technical Design Authority, reporting to the project manager, during the detailed design, implementation & commissioning stages of projects won. To be the technical lead on complex, software & workflow based technical solutions provided by the client ensuring that projects are bid, won & delivered successfully. To project manage international technical teams in the preparation of the response to EMEA clients requests, primarily under competitive tendering conditions. To identify technical products (and partners) to be evaluated to ensure the client is able to design & deliver state-of-the-art technical solutions required by customers. To provide Business Development support to account managers to identify & ensure longer term business sales. To deliver responses to or exceeding client expectation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The solution architect is responsible for the preparation & timely delivery of the technical response to a tender (usually competitive), they have to determine & evaluate the technical feasibility of the project & the clients capability to deliver it, support bid manager in the creation of bid win strategy & Determine the technical architecture & solution.
